What Is Clinical?
Clinical courses are an educational experience where you will have an opportunity to learn, apply and practice nursing theory, knowledge and skills. Clinicals are designed with multiple settings for learning. This includes experiences offered through TFSON:Trent Simulation HUB (The Hub) such as in-person labs, virtual labs and simulations. As a student, you will also spend time within the health care system in settings such as hospitals, long-term care homes and others agencies under the guidance and supervision of a clinical instructor and preceptor. Here you receive opportunity to experience "real-world" settings, learn and gain confidence in your knowledge and skills and prepare for the challenges of a complex health care system.
