Board and Senate reviews

"A Blueprint for Restructuring," the report of a task force which reviewed the operations of the Board of Governors, was adopted by the board in June. It is available on Trent's Web site (www.trentu.ca/admin/ secretariat/blueprint.html), or in print form from the University Secretariat.

Changes to operations and structures were adopted by the board to increase the value volunteer board members bring to the university and to improve the ef ciency with which the board discharges its responsibilities.

Senate, too, has formed a committee "to review academic governance at Trent within the framework of good scal management in light of the recommendations...of the Arthurs/Lorimer Review…"
