Web site keeping pace with changes
Trent University's award winning Web site will be more user friendly than ever this fall, with new links, more information and special features.
As the university grows and changes, that has to be reflected in our site, said Web developer Maureen Wideman of the communications department.
Studies have shown that the Web is the number one way of getting information into the hands of prospective students, she said. "This is a powerful communications tool because it can be updated virtually instantly." Among the changes this fall:
In the works are a career planning site and a new homepage.
Wideman was assisted in the Web site's summer makeover by second-year Trent student Ryan Brinkhurst.
