High speed internet access deal signed

High-speed, unlimited Internet access is available to Trent students, staff and faculty as the fall semester begins, thanks to a partnership between the university and Bell Canada.

As part of its multi-year commitment to Trent, Bell has installed a million-dollar equipment centre on the Symons Campus, making its Sympatico high-speed edition available in every residence room on campus. The service will also be available to most students, staff and faculty living in the downtown core, including those at Traill and Peter Robinson colleges.

An introductory price of $26.95 will be offered, after which the service can be continued at a significant saving below the market rate. It is available to anyone with a valid Trent I.D. including faculty, staff, students and retirees.
