Hodgins receives honorary degreeBruce Hodgins, Professor Emeritus in History, was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree by WLU, at Sundays convocation. Hodgins graduated with a BA in history in 1952 and was named Laurier's Alumnus of the Year in 1992. He has spent a lifetime devoted to Canadas river heritage, in particular those of the Temagami and Camp Wanapitei Co-ed camps. Hodgins taught at the University of Western Ontario and was professor of history at Trent from 1972 until he retired in 1996.
