Students & Companies Rendezvous at 2nd Annual Career Fair Career Day at Trent was a great success with 17 organizations and scores of students exchanging résumés and business cards. Held November 8th from 10 am to 4 pm at the Great Hall in Champlain College, the event was organized by David McKee of the Trent Business Students' Association to give Trent students of all disciplines and levels an opportunity to learn about a variety of careers-and communicate with the organizations that offer them. The tbsa reports the enthusiasm with which companies greeted the opportunity to meet the next generation of Trent University grads. Organizers encouraged students to ask organizations about the different skills and experiences they can expect to gain through employment there. The Career Fair was developed through a joint effort by the Trent Business Students' Association, Student Affairs Office, the Trent Central Student Association, and Trent University's Administrative Studies Program.   Back to the Trent Report main page
