Ontario Graduate Scholarships
Awards valued at $11,859 per annum have been granted to 12 Trent students
by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities under the 2000-01
Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program.
One award was received for Ph.D. studies. It went to Nicole Bell
(Native Studies).
Awards for second year master's level studies went to Tonya
Bauermann and Dana Reker (Applications of Modelling M.Sc.), Adena Kuchera
(Canadian Studies and Native Studies M.A.), Edward Millward (Methodologies
M.A.), and Yolanda MacKinnon (Watershed Ecosystems, M.Sc.).
Judith Atkinson (Psychology), Maria Condon (Economics), Bernard
Lesawich (Philosophy), Rachel Moll (Physics), Rebecca Nader (Psychology)
and Annie Rogers (Special Student, Economics) received awards for first
year master's level studies.
Nine further Ontario Graduate Scholarships, tenable as
Institutional awards for graduate study only at Trent University, are yet
to be announced.
