Games post for Hollingsworth
Athletics co-ordinator Amy Hollingsworth, never one to duck a challenge,
will be behind the bench as Ontario's top under-21 field hockey players
face off against the rest of the nation next year in London, Ontario at the
Canada Summer Games.
Hollingsworth has accepted an invitation to serve as assistant
coach for the team.
She brings a wealth of experience to the position, having served
six years as Trent University's head coach and in senior coaching positions
with four other provincial teams.
She was named OUA coach of the year in 1996-97 and won junior,
intermediate and varsity awards during her playing days at York University
- a period during which she was an 11-time medallist playing on indoor,
outdoor and varsity teams.
