Growing enrolments present additional financial challenges
Applications To Trent University Up
The Office of the Registrar has confirmed that enrolment data for early March point to significant increases in applications to Trent University.
- Applications from Ontario high school students have increased 27 per cent and applications from students in other provinces have increased 30 per cent (primarily British Columbia, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia)
- The number of students wishing to transfer to Trent from other post secondary institutions across Canada has increased 15 per cent.
- Applications from International students are up 24 per cent
Most significant are the major increases in first and second choice applications, particularly from Ontario high schools. First choice applications increased 43 per cent and second choice applications have
increased by 22 per cent.New students to Trent will have opportunities to meet faculty and learn about programs at the Open House in Peterborough (March 12-13) and the Open House and Early Registration Advisory Fair in Oshawa (March 21).
