Farewell to Chair Jalynn Bennett

Jalynn Bennett completes her term as Board of Governors Chair on June 30, after serving for a five-year term. To mark her years of services, Bennett was presented with an architect's rendering showing a new bench in her honour that will be located at the base of the Bata Library steps as part of the design of the new bookstore entrance.

Bennett is a consultant to the private, public and not-for-profit sectors on strategic positioning and organizational development. She joined Trent's Board in 1987 and became its Chair in 1994.

Trent graduate and chartered accountant, Gary Wolff, succeeds Bennett as Chair. He joined the Board in 1991 and is Executive Director of McCarthy Tétrault, Canada's largest law firm.
