Two elected to Board

Glen Easson of the Physical Resources Department and David Glassco, English Literature, have been elected to the Board of Governors for two-year terms beginning July 1, 2001.

Easson joined Trent's staff in 1987 and is employed as Co-ordinator of Preventative Maintenance. He has served as a volunteer for the Alumni Association and in roles with opseu. During Easson's previous two years on the Board (1998-2000), he served on its Audit & Finance Committee.

Glassco, a former Master of Champlain College, has been at Trent since 1970. He's been a Chair of the Athletics Committee, a resident don and senior don at Traill College and also at Champlain. He's served on Senate and was the founding president of the Peterborough Singers when that community group began nine years ago.
