The Canada Research Chairs Program (CRCP) is a $900-million federal
initiative to help Canada stay at the forefront of the global
knowledge-based economy, and to help universities attract and
retain the best researchers in the natural sciences and engineering,
health sciences, and social sciences and humanities. Over the
next five years, there will be 2000 research chairs in universities
across Canada. Information on the chairs program is available
at http://www.chairs.gic.ca. |
