Trent honours top athletesTrent students Lisa Morton and Jamie Fligg were awarded the Arthur Cup, the athletic departmentšs most prestigious award at the 31st annual Athletic Awards Reception. Morton, a fourth year biology, environmental science and education student from Scarborough, is one of Canadašs top two-way players in university field hockey, and a four-time OUA all-star. She is also a Royal Bank Academic All-Canadian, for strong academic achievements while playing a varsity sport. Fligg, a fourth year biology and environmental science student from Brampton, has competed for Trent in cross country running and Nordic skiing at the varsity level and in triathlons throughout the province. His efforts as the president of the Trent Triathlon Club illustrate his commitment to the sport, and to raising the profile of the university triathlon circuit. Athletics director Paul Wilson said both students epitomize the finest qualities of inter-university sport.
