Teacher Ed program to accept more students Queen's and Trent universities have renewed an agreement to continue the Concurrent Teacher Education program. The new agreement will run until June 30, 2006 with a joint review beginning in the fall of 2004. Under the terms of the new agreement there will be 15 additional students admitted to the program beginning in the 2001-2002 academic year. The extra spaces are for students who have completed the first year of an Arts and Science program and who are in a Trent honours program. This brings the total number of enrolments from 110 to 125. Queen's faculty will continue to provide on-campus instruction at Trent. The community-based teacher education program
has been running since 1973. |
