Trent ranks third in Maclean's survey
Trent has held its third-place spot in the seventh annual Maclean's magazine ranking of Canadian universities against stiffer competition. Trent held its own against 22 other primarily undergraduate universities compared to 18 others in previous years.
In the Nov. 17 Maclean's ranking, Trent continued to distinguish itself as having the smallest class sizes at first- and second-year levels, the strongest alumni support (percentage of alumni who gave gifts over five years) and highest proportion per eligible faculty of grants for social sciences and humanities.
In the same category, Mount Allison continues to hold first place and Acadia, secopnd, St. Francis Xavier climbed to fourth, displacing Wilfrid Laurier to fifth and Bishop's to sixth.
