Triathletes to beat
Gerald McKinley and Shannon Mason get in shape for this weekend's
Ontario universities annual triathlon hosted at Trent. The fourth-year
students are competing against 80-100 contenders in the 750-metre swim,
20-kilometre bike rase and five-km run on Saturday. Mason is Trent's top
female triathlete and McKinley is among the top three Trent male
triathletes. The Trent University Triathlon Club is also hosting a five-km
fun run Saturday. Both events start at 10 a.m. Register tomorrow 5-8 p.m.
or Saturday 7-8:30 a.m. in the Athletics Complex.
