The search committee for the vice-president administration has now completed its consultations with the university community about the challenges facing the next vice-president administration.
The committee would like to thank all individuals and groups who offered views on the skills, experience and personal attributes which candidates should bring to the position. These valuable insights have enabled the committee to develop a position profile which we believe reflects the concerns of students, faculty, staff, alumni and board members. Hard copies are available from the University Secretariat, first floor, Bata Library.
Ads for the position have been placed in a number of publications (see Fortnightly Jan. 22), and intensive recruitment will take place during the coming month. Members of the university community who wish to apply or nominate someone for the position are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
