Patterson meets Trent
On a whirlwind two-day visit to Trent last week, incoming president Bonnie
Patterson met students including Lady Eaton College senior senator Julie
Murphy, and Board of Governors member Adam Guzkowski. Escorted by members
of the presidential search committee, Patterson met students, staff and
faculty at all three campuses. She met college heads, graduate and full-
and part-time undergraduate student leaders, student senators and college
cabinet presidents, and heads of faculty and staff unions. She talked to
interim president David Smith, had breakfast with president of the Trent
University Foundation, drank coffee with non-academic and academic
department heads. She was interviewed by a Peterborough Examiner reporter,
addressed the Board of Governors, lunched with board and Senate and the
board, and held a working dinner with the president's executive group.
Patterson takes office July 1.
