First aid courses
Trent's Athletic Department is offering Red Cross Standard first aid courses and recertifications on weekends in February and March.

        Two-day, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses take place on the weekends of Feb. 28 and March 28 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. both days.

        Recertification courses are scheduled Feb. 7 and March 8 from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Yearbook delayed
Students expecting to pick up their 1996-97 Trent Annual yearbook last month will have to wait until the fall.

        Due to financial constraints, managing editor Dan Gunn has decided to combine the 1996-97 and 1997-98 yearbooks and deliver the double edition sometime next fall, he said in a news release Jan. 26. By doing so, Gunn expects to repair the past debt problems without increasing the $18 annual student levy for the yearbook.
