Frost Centre organizers are calling for papers from undergraduate and graduate students across Canada for a conference, New Visions of Nation: Re-imagining Canadian Culture(s), Feb. 27-28 at Trent.

        They are inviting students from all disciplines to submit 250-word abstracts by Jan. 5 on whether diverse and sometimes conflicting understandings of Canadian culture come together to offer a new vision of nation. Papers presented at the conference will be published in Avancer, the student journal for the study of Canada.
