A loonie on the line
History student Leslie Webb (left) places a loonie on the line for Bata
Library in a three-day campaign last week to raise money for Trent's Annual
Fund. Alexandria Thom, Annual Fund telemarketing supervisor, initiated the
Show Us the Money loonie line to tap into students' goodwill. The Annual
Fund has raised $280,000 this year from alumni, parents and friends of
Trent. The fund supports different initiatives every year.
