The Trent Community Mourns the Passing of Ms. Jennifer Mills (nee McMillan)
The University community is saddened to learn of the death of Ms. Jennifer Mills (nee McMillan), who passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
A clinical instructor in the Nursing department, Jennifer taught at Trent for several years. Originally seconded from the Hospital for Sick Children, she began teaching at Trent in the fall of 2006.
Upon learning of her passing, a colleague at Trent said this of Jennifer: “Jennifer was committed to educating and inspiring future nurses and will be greatly missed by her former students and peers."
The University extends its deepest sympathies to the Mills and the McMillan family and to all those in the Trent and Peterborough communities who knew Jennifer. In honour of her contributions to the University, the flag atop the Bata Library has been lowered to a half-mast position.
