Creative Cocktail Networking Event Brings Together Entrepreneurs and Trent Community
Trent University faculty, alumni and staff speak about benefits of living and working in Peterborough
Trent University faculty, alumni and Peterborough entrepreneurs gathered in the Chemical Sciences Building on October 15 for the Creative Cocktail networking event organized by the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation (GPAEDC) and hosted by Trent University Conference and Hospitality Services.
The Creative Cocktail is a free event designed to bring businesses and professionals in the creative economy together to inspire each other, make business connections and generate collaborations. Guests heard from several speakers about why they chose to live and work in Peterborough.
“Our community is full of passionate people who want to do big things,” said Maryam Monsef, outreach coordinator for the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough and Trent University alumnus.
Dan Taylor, president and chief executive officer of the GPAEDC thanked Trent University Conference and Hospitality Services for hosting the “turn key” event.
