Trent University's First Annual Paint-A-Thon
On Wednesday, April 3, 2013, a celebration of the arts took place in Lady Eaton College's Dining Hall (due to weather conditions). There was a showcase of local art organizations and vendors from the Peterborough community, artwork by students from the Cultural Studies Department, as well as energetic music alongside the main attraction:
Life-sized canvases measuring 4x5 ft were set up in Lady Eaton College's Dining Hall where six teams (max. 8 people/team) painted like they've never painted before!
Many thanks go out to the contributions of the Housing Department, the Lady Eaton College Cabinet, The Otonabee College Cabinet, as well as the Pan-Colleges for their sponsorship to make this event possible.
The proceeds go directly to a local organization: Kawartha Food Share.
