Trent University Community Celebrates 10 Years of The Student-Run Seasoned Spoon Cafe
Good food and gardening workshops bring many from the local community to campus
Generations of Trent students gathered in the Great Hall for the Seasoned Spoon 10 Year Anniversary Celebration on the evening of Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Champlain College, Trent University.
During the day, students from the Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems program hosted a full day of gardening workshops and discussions on seed starting, composting, and growing, sourcing, storing and connecting in the community.
Dr. Steven E. Franklin, Trent University president and vice-chancellor joined students, staff and alumni for a great feast to acknowledge and celebrate the milestone occasion.
