Lady Eaton College Celebrates Spring and Its Graduates
15 students honoured for academic achievement and contributions to college life
Every year Lady Eaton College celebrates spring and the successes of its graduating class. This year over 150 graduating and returning students participated in the Spring Celebration Dinner. At the dinner 15 students were honoured for academic achievement and contributions and college life.
The event began with a Graduate Reception hosted by the College Cabinet in the LEC Pit. Cake and refreshments were served and students reminisced about their undergraduate years at Trent. After the reception current and past fellows of the college and students wearing Trent robes with their college scarves processed to the Dining Hall for dinner and the awards ceremony.
Principal Dr. Michael Eamon toasted current students and graduates and offered a special thanks to outgoing Prime Minister Ashley Robinson. He also presented Professor Jocelyn Aubrey, Associate Dean of Undergraduates, with a framed print as a token of appreciate for her years of support to students and to college life. Lee Hayes, Lady Eaton alumna and Head of Alumni Affairs was also in attendance presenting the Alumni Recognition Award.
