Roger is Now With God
Wednesday, September 11, 2013
I am ever so sad to convey the news that Roger passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre this afternoon, surrounded by loving family members.
Friends and relatives will be welcomed at The Hendren Funeral Homes, Lakefield Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17. The funeral service will be held at Bridgenorth United Church on Wednesday, September 18, commencing at 1:00 p.m., with Rev. Dr. Anne Gowans-Blinn officiating, and a reception held thereafter in the church Fellowship Hall. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Hospice Peterborough would be most appropriate. As those of you who have read this entire blog are well aware, Hospice is an organization of which Roger thought most highly, which provided him with valuable support while dealing with both of his cancer diagnoses. Condolences may be sent by contacting the funeral home at www.hendrenfuneralhome.com or calling (705) 652-3355.
