Trip to the Petroglyphs Provincial Park

Join us for a day trip to Petroglyphs Provincial Park, where you'll explore one of Canada's largest collections of Indigenous rock carvings while enjoying beautiful forests, lakes, and scenic trails.

Escape into nature with a visit to Petroglyphs Provincial Park, home to one of the largest known Indigenous rock carvings in Canada. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the park, enjoy scenic views, learn about its cultural and historical significance, and spend time outdoors with friends. During this fieldtrip we will watch a short documentary on the rock carvings, visit the cultural centre, and receive a guided tour of the 'Teaching Rocks'. 

Trip Details:

  • Date: Thursday, July 23
  • Bus Pickup: 8:50 AM
  • Pickup Location: Parking Lot L, in front of Alumni House

Important: All participants will be required to sign a waiver which will be provided on the day of the event before departure. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow enough time to complete the waiver and check in.

Please make sure to wear appropriate dress and footwear. Snacks and drinks will be available. This is a rain or shine event, please prepare for all scenarios.
