There are numerous benefits of mentoring including the opportunity to learn from others. How often as Black students have we said, “I do not see myself reflected in Leadership?”
Join Christopher Evelyn ’04, Chief of Staff to the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development at Government of Canada, and a group of Black leaders for an informal networking session and reception. Engage informally in one-on-one conversations to get to know them and exchange ideas and experiences. Find out what skills, experience, tips, they have to share, and what insights they have gained from navigating challenges through their career.
Hosted by the Trent University Equity and Human Rights Office and Life After Trent.
Session and refreshments are free. Registration is required.
