On Thursday, September 26, the University will mark the official installation of Dr. Cathy Bruce as Trent’s ninth president and vice-chancellor.  

To accommodate the installation ceremony and guests, the following changes to parking and transit will be in effect for the day: 

• Parking: Lots I, K & M will be exclusively reserved for external guests to the university all day on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Premium Permit holders in lot I will still have access to their spaces.  
• Transit Stops: Between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. City transit buses will enter Symons Campus via Woodland Drive, stopping on West Bank Drive, across from the Bata bus loop (near LEC). Northbound buses will not stop at the Athletics Centre, Day Care or Blackburn Hall. Southbound buses will stop at Blackburn Hall only. Signs are posted.
