School of Business Student Helping Local Business Thrive in Placement
Fourth-year Trent student learning the ins and outs of local business through placement at the Innovation Cluster
Peyton Lee, fourth-year School of Business student at Trent, is busy helping local businesses excel all while preparing himself for the workforce through his placement at Innovation Cluster.
The Innovation Cluster is a local, Peterborough organization that provides growth support to local startups and small businesses through programs, mentorships, and workshops.
Trent's dynamic placement opportunities have enabled Peyton to take his learning beyond the classroom and contributed to diversifying his skillset as he nears graduation.
“Throughout my journey at Trent I have taken a ton of fantastic different courses that have really opened my eyes into real world applications of the business world,” says Peyton.
As Peyton moves into the workforce, he looks forward to taking the experiences and skills learned through his time at Trent and the Innovation Cluster into his career.
“This placement is going to benefit my future career aspirations because I'm looking to become an entrepreneur,” says Peyton. “Seeing how these entrepreneurs tackle challenges firsthand is important to me in the next couple of years as I take on a similar path to them in the future.”
