Cornel Grey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at Western University. A Trent alumnus, Dr. Grey completed a B.A. (Honours) degree in English Literature and Sociology before moving on to graduate studies at the University of Toronto. Before joining Western, Dr. Grey was a postdoctoral fellow at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health where examined the impact of COVID-19 on gay, bisexual and queer men. Cornel's current research program focuses primarily on black queer health and his current projects include a qualitative study on the role of skin-to-skin contact in the lives of black queer men and an archival study that looks at queer models of care during the 1980s and 1990s HIV/AIDS crisis.
