Trent University Library & Archives invites you to immerse yourself in the captivating world of Indigenous art as we showcase the remarkable creations of Curve Lake artist David Beaucage Johnson. From Monday, October 16 to Friday, October 20, his awe-inspiring artwork will grace the Bata Library Atrium, offering a visual journey through culture and creativity.

To celebrate this artistic endeavour, we cordially invite you to the Official Opening on Tuesday, October 17, a special evening from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As part of this event, you'll have the unique opportunity to engage directly with the artist himself during a talk at 5:00 p.m. Please register in advance to secure your spot for this enlightening occasion. Discover the stories, techniques, and inspiration behind David Beaucage Johnson's exceptional artwork. Don't miss this chance to explore the rich tapestry of Indigenous artistry.
