With a passion for research and a commitment to fostering innovative learning environments, Dr. Wenying Feng brings a unique blend of expertise and enthusiasm to the role of associate dean of Trent University Durham GTA.
An expert in Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Feng's research spans the exploration of nonlinear operator equations to solutions and positive solutions for nonlinear differential and difference equations, fixed point theory, and extends into the realms of machine learning and deep neural networks.
Regardless of the topic, empowering education is Prof. Feng's hallmark. Her interactive classroom philosophy fosters student-led learning and a love for knowledge. She believes education should be an exploration co-created by teachers and students.
"I believe in nurturing minds, not just delivering lectures," Prof. Feng emphasizes. "Education should be an exciting journey of exploration, where students and teachers co-create understanding."
