Beautiful Canoe Collective uses intermedial technique and Indigenous performance praxis to (re)claim birthing narratives, (re)discover
traditional birthing stories, practices and ceremonies, and educate Indigenous peoples and communities about (re)connecting to these traditional birthing practices. Journey the Canoe is essential at this moment in time, when women and gender diverse people’s body sovereignty is under threat.

2 Performances, January 27 and 28 at 7 pm.
