On the evening of May 3, we’re helping to host the Celebration of Excellence: Teaching and Research. So many people have done excellent work in difficult times – and this is a chance for the Trent Community to celebrate a few special efforts.
In a year that has had some dark times, please come and help us shine a light on a few of our outstanding researchers and teachers.
The winners are:
- Distinguished Research Award: To Be Announced
- Symons Award for Excellence in Teaching: Dr. Shannon Accettone
- Award for Educational Leadership and Innovation: Dr. Rayf Shiell and Dr. Aaron Slepkov
- Award for Excellence in Online Teaching: Dr. Brent Bellamy
- CUPE 3908-1 Award for Excellence in Teaching: Mike Perry
- Award for Excellence in Teaching Assistance: Emma Pirie
- OUSA Teaching Award: Dr. Christine Goodwin De Faria
