TUFA’s Dr. Marcus Harvey Leads the 2020 Peterborough United Way Campaign
Trent set to launch its $150,000 fundraising drive
The United Way of Greater Peterborough has chosen Dr. Marcus Harvey, executive director of the Trent University Faculty Association as the Campaign Chair for their 2020 fundraising campaign. Dr. Harvey also serves as member of the United Way Peterborough’s board of directors.
“I have been tremendously proud of Trent’s response to the needs of this community over the past few years and will be using Trent as an example to others of what can be accomplished.”
Trent’s United Way committee has set our fundraising target at $150,000, in response to the impact the pandemic has had on our community. Employees are asked watch their email over the coming days for how to participate in this important initiative in a virtual way.
“Like all things in the COVID-era, the logistics of fundraising just got a lot more challenging, but there are a lot of people who need us to succeed, and I have enormous confidence in the kindness and generosity of all my colleagues at Trent” continued Dr. Harvey.
