#FacesOfTrentU: At Home on the Banks of the Otonabee
School of Business student Sean Mestieri chose Trent because of its academic excellence and natural setting
“As most Trent students, I was immediately drawn to Trent for its beauty and connectivity to nature. I chose to come to Trent because of the river! Back home, I have the Welland canal running through my backyard, so having this river made me feel welcome and at home. Trent also offered me the perfect degree combination that I was looking for, so it’s been a win-win-win situation.”
Sean Mestieri is a third-year School of Business and Otonabee College student doing a double major in Business Administration and Sociology. Originally from Niagara Falls, Mr. Mestieri chose Trent University because of its variety and flexibility of degrees and specializations.
Mr. Mestieri hasn’t held back on stepping outside of his comfort zone either. As he pursues his Bachelor of Business Administration, he’s also working and volunteering. You may also recognized him from the campus Starbucks in the Student Centre, and this year, Mr. Mestieri is serving as the new queer students’ commissioner for the Trent Central Student Association.
