Discussions surrounding death, dying, and bereavement can be difficult, especially when these conversations involve children. Unfortunately, children of all ages are sometimes faced with the task of making sense of death and death related issues. For bereaved children it is emotionally beneficial to allow them opportunities to openly discuss and explore their own grief. A children’s book can be a great starting point to initiate these types of discussions.
Trent University Durham GTA students were dedicated to developing an important resource for bereaved children and families through this class project.
Please join us in a book reading and enjoy food and drinks with the student authors.
