Trent University Saddened to Learn of the Passing of Dr. Peter Watson
Dr. Watson joined Trent in 1967 as an assistant professor of Psychology
The Trent University community is saddened to learn of the passing of Professor Emeritus Peter Watson.
Dr. Watson began working at Trent as an assistant professor of Psychology in 1967 and received tenure in 1971. During his time at Trent, he served as senior tutor at Traill College in 1970-72 and chair of the Psychology department in 1976. Professor Watson retired from the University in 2006.

Peter taught psychology at Trent University for 39 years and was a longtime member of the Peterborough Motor Sports Club. His passions included motor sports, fishing, travel, cooking, photography and watching soccer. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 22nd, 2019, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the ASHBURNHAM FUNERAL HOME & RECEPTION CENTRE, 840 Armour Road, Peterborough. Memorial Service in the chapel on Friday, March 22nd, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Peterborough Humane Society through the funeral home or condolences to the family may be made online at www.AshburnhamFuneral.ca
