#FacesofTrentU: Making the Most of Her Education
Mackenzie Mills, Business Administration
“Through my program and the Trent Business Student Association, I’ve learned so much about communication, teamwork and collaboration in professional atmospheres. I’ve had a chance to run events on campus and recently did a placement at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre where I worked with the Human Resources department. These opportunities allow me to make the most of my learning here at Trent, while also engaging with the University and greater Peterborough community.”
Third-year Business student, Mackenzie Mills, is taking advantage of experiential and hands-on opportunities to take her learning out of the classroom. Through her role as president of the Trent Business Student Association and her recent internship placement, Ms. Mills is using the skills she has gained at Trent to pursue a career in the non-profit sector after graduation next year.
Trent University prides itself on providing an outstanding personal and interactive learning environment. This story is part of the #FacesofTrentU series, which highlights our many student success stories and the numerous dynamic programs offered at Trent.
