Trent University students and officials will participate in Remembrance Day activities to honour those citizens who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation and our freedom. "During this time of international tension and violence it is important for all Canadians to pay tribute to our veterans of past conflicts and to pause and think about the contributions of our fellow Canadians who are serving our country abroad," says Bonnie Patterson, President of Trent University. In advance of Remembrance Day, a ceremony is planned at Lady Eaton College Pit today at 10:30 am. History, remembrance and sacrifice will be marked in this hour -long ceremony. University students and officials will
also participate in ceremonies at Peterborough and Lakefield
on November 11.
