Trent Annual Report Wins Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE) Silver Medal |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Award Presented at CCAE National Conference in Ottawa on June 5 Friday, June 23, 2006, Peterborough Trent University's annual report has won a silver medal for Best Institutional Annual Report in the 2006 Prix D'Excellence, the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education's (CCAE) most prestigious awards program. Dianne Lister, Trent's new Vice-President of External Relations and Advancement, accepted the award on behalf of the University during the CCAE's national conference held in Ottawa at the beginning of June. "Having our annual report recognized by a national council such as the CCAE is a great accomplishment," said Ms. Lister. "This medal speaks to the University's strengths in marketing and the critical role that the External Relations and Advancement team are playing to promote Trent's many accomplishments." The University developed the annual report with the staff of BrandHealth Communications Inc., a full ad agency, led by Paul Hickey and based in Peterborough. The award for Best Institutional Annual Report is based on excellence in concept, graphic design and editorial content with regard to the objective of communicating an institution's sense of accountability to its community and constituencies. The award is one of 20 given out by the CCAE each year to recognize outstanding achievement in alumni affairs, public affairs, development, student recruitment, and overall institutional Advancement.
