Catering cuisine lauded A new Aramark catering menu was launched at a luncheon event on Friday, October 18. In the works for one year, the new "Classic Fare" menu features a blend of Aramark executive chef creations and Trent chef favourites. Everything from breakfast items to desserts and specialty foods is offered. "We cater mostly internal functions, although we do sometimes cater outside events," explains Trent Food Service Director Mary-Anne Thomas. "Catering allows us to showcase our culinary expertise." Some of the new catering menu items will appear in campus cafeterias, as well, so students will have an opportunity to sample a few dishes. Approximately 75 members of the Trent community attended the menu launch in the Native Studies lounge on Friday and were able to taste many new offerings.
