Participate in Library Evaluation Survey... You Could Win a Prize! |
||
The Trent Library is participating in the LibQUAL+ program this year, a program run by the ARL (Association of Research Libraries) in the United States. The main element in this program is an online survey, which has to be completed before April 19. The survey was designed by ARL and is being used this term by over 200 libraries worldwide, including ten in Canada. Undertaken largely in response to the External Review done last year, the Trent Library is using this program to ask library patrons for their opinions on services, staff, resources, and space. This year will mark the first time Trent has participated in the program, and it represents a considerable investment in money and time, so the Library is hoping to get as much participation as possible. The results received will allow Trent to compare its library services with those at other similar institutions. In addition, the survey will provide a baseline of feedback that can be referred back to when future surveys are conducted Everyone at Trent is invited to participate. Please visit the Library website at: http://www.trentu.ca/library/ to access the online survey and to find out more information about it. When the survey closes on April 19, three names will be drawn from completed surveys and winners will receive gift certificates from the Trent University Bookstore. Don't miss out on this opportunity to provide your feedback and help the Library improve its resources, equipment, and services.
