Academic Awards Presented at Dean's Honour Roll Luncheon |

Lady Eaton College hosted the annual Dean's Honour Roll Luncheon on Wednesday, November 9, awarding the Fellows' Prize and Senior Tutor's Prize to its top students. Fourth year student Tam Nhan won both the Senior Tutor's Prize and a Fellows' Prize for science. The Senior Tutor's Prize goes to the student in their final honours year with the highest cumulative academic average. The Fellows' Prizes are awarded to the six students with the highest academic average at the end of the previous school year – one in arts and one in science in each of first, second and third year. This year's Fellows' Prize winners are:
The winners received cash prizes, donated by the college fellows, and a plaque commemorating their award. Dean of Arts and Science Colin Taylor, LEC Principal Arndt Kruger and LEC Senior Tutor Peter Northrop handed out the awards. About 40 of LEC's Dean's Honour Roll students attended the lunch and received certificates recognizing their academic achievements. Honour roll students must have attained an 80 per cent average or better during their last semester and must have a 75 per cent or better cumulative average.
