Francophone Writer Didier Leclair at Trent: Nov. 30

Didier Leclair, francophone writer from Toronto, will talk about his latest work Ce pays qui est le mien (That Country of Mine) on November 30 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. in Peter Gzowski College (Symons Campus) Room 112. Mr. Leclair won the Trillium Prize in 2001 for his first novel Toronto, Je t'aime. His latest novel was nominated for the Lector's Prize at Radio Canada in 2004.

Mr. LeClair will be explaining why he wrote about the problems immigrants from visible minorities face in Canada, and how difficult it is for those professionals to relocate themselves according to their qualifications.

The conference will be in French but the question period could be in both official languages.
