Trent Remembers Retiree Marion Grant |

Marion Grant was employed at Trent between 1979 to 1992. She was an active member of the University's Social and Athletic Association and the staff association. She is survived by one son, John and his wife. ObituaryMarion ("Mumsey") Grant: October 25th, 1926 – September 5th, 2004 Marion passed away peacefully in Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, and will be remembered for her humour, strength and kindness. Marion might like us to enjoy a beverage on a Friday afternoon, get together with a "bunch" at lunch, roll a few balls down the alley, or throw caution to the wind and hit the links even if there's a sour-sounding weather forecast. A memorial service will be held at Rosemount Gardens, 2551 Whittington Drive at 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17th. A social celebration of Marion's life will follow at the Peterborough Curling Club from 4:00 – 9:30 pm.
