Trent Graduates Get Jobs Trent graduates are excelling in the labour market and four out of every five graduates, who responded to a recent survey, indicated that they had found a job related to their field of study at university. The Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and the Council of Ontario Universities conduct the annual survey - first introduced in 1996. Trent graduates of 2000 have an overall employment rate of 96.2 per cent six months after graduation, up from 1999's employment rate of 90.8 per cent. Programs with full employment rates include Physical Sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry and Physics, and Arts programs such as Cultural Studies, Modern Languages and Classics. Moreover, two years after graduation, the employment rate for Trent graduates exceeds 97 per cent with full employment for Business Administration, Biology and Arts programs. These statistics are excerpted from the Trent Performance Indicators 2003 report (Word document), which showcases data on student performance, teaching and faculty research, enrolment, supporting environment, financial indicators and Maclean's survey. The following table outlines employment rates of Trent graduates of 2000, by academic program. 2000
