Trent University's Santa Claus Parade Float A dedicated group of staff members and volunteers worked into the evening November 3 to prepare Trent's float for this year's Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, December 6 at 5:30 p.m. The parade travelled down George Street and finished at the Memorial Centre. This year's theme was "A Victorian Christmas." Trent's float depicted an outdoor ice skating scene with staff members dressed in Victorian clothing. Some wonderfully creative individuals here at Trent worked hard to pull the float together, says Jean Hamilton of the Human Resources department, who spearheaded the project.
